Primary 3 have been learning about the importance of the River Nile for the survival of the Egyptian people. The children learned that the Egyptians invented a tool called a Shaduf which they used to help them lift water from the River Nile and water their crops.
Mrs Clark then challenged the boys and girls to make their own model Shadufs using only the materials provided.
It was tricky but the children worked really well together.
Here are some of their fantastic Shadufs. Don’t they look great and they really work?!
