Scarab Beetles by Primary 3

We found out that in Ancient Egypt, Scarab Beetle amulets were worn because people believed that they would protect them from danger and harm.

The children wanted to make their own beetle amulets.  We made them using tinfoil, tissues paper and lots of PVA glue!

Once the glue dried, the children used paper, card, gold pens and googly eyes to create their finished beetles.

The children were really pleased with how they turned out.  I think they look fab. Really well done boys and girls!
